Books are physical here. Each spine is the work itself — height scales to word count, colour to fandom, a quiet ribbon marks where you left off. Sort by what matters: last read, fandom, word count, completion status. Group by fandom, filter the lot down, switch between the shelf and a cover-art grid. Then close the app and feel like you have a library, not a tab graveyard.

Tap a fic and FicLog opens the source page right inside the app — tracking how far you've scrolled, so the next time you open it you land exactly where you stopped. Around it sits the fic detail page: the full metadata pulled from the source — title, author, fandoms, relationships, word count, completion status — all of it editable, none of it judgmental. Private notes only you ever see. And chapter-by-chapter progress, because "60% of the way in" is not the same as "on chapter 19".

A reading list for the "later" pile, with no notifications nagging you about it. Collections for the rec lists in your head — build them by hand, or as smart collections that fill themselves from a filter (everything completed in a fandom, everything over 100k, that sort of thing). Custom lists for whatever doesn't fit either box. And when you want to, share a single fic or a whole collection with a link.

The free tier counts the basics — how many fics, how many finished. Premium does the full accounting: words read by month and by year, top fandoms and genres, longest fic, shortest, the marathon weekend. Plus the Wrapped cards — annual and monthly, shareable, gentle.
